Plano Middle School Wildcat Drumline Information Goes Out
The Plano Middle School Wildcat Drumline is proud to kick off its 2011 season. Information on this special group has been sent
out to our middle school band directors to pass out to our middle school percussionists. Be on the lookout. You won't

Art of Drum - (December 9, 2010)
Plano Percussion is proud to introduce its first winter percussion concert, Art of Drum. Featuring the percussion programs from
Plano, Jasper, and Vines, Art of Drum presents drum-only, non-melodic keyboard percussion ensembles. Starting at 7pm in the Plano
Senior High School Auditorium, Art of Drum promises an evening of heart stomping, energetic, and fun music. We hope you can join us.

PanCat Winter Tour - (December 10, 2010)
The 2010-11 PanCat Winter Tour kicks off on December 10, 2010 with a 6pm performance at Barnes and Noble (Park/Preston) in
Plano, Texas. Come out and hear holiday favorites with a PanCat twist such as only the sounds of sweet pan can offer. The

Plano Holiday Parade - (December 11, 2010)
The Winter Season is celebrated as bands from PISD participate in the Plano Holiday Parade. New for this year, the parade route
will begin at Vines High School, travel west on 15th Street, proceed north on Independence and end at Haggard Middle School. Please come out and enjoy the festivities! For more information, please visit

Spring Percussion Sectionals -
Percussion sectionals will begin/continue in January. Each school (PSHS,JHS,VHS) will have
required weekly sectionals. All students are engaged in either ensemble rehearsal or solo practice during these times.
An itemized schedule calendar can be found in the member's only section of the home page.
PMSDL Parent Meeting - (January 10, 2010)
We are very excited to offer this wonderful activity once again for our young middle school
percussionists. Last year's group had a lot of fun and we are extremely proud of their performance at the Plano
Percussion Concert: Spettacolo. Any and all details will be addressed at our PMSDL Parent Orientation Meeting. The meeting

Vines Spaghetti Dinner - (January 29, 2010)
This evening offers our community a wonderful night of live music performance. Our middle school percussionists from
Haggard and Wilson will be in concert along with their band mates performing at their best. Along with our middle school bands,
the evening will also feature the Vines Symphonic, Concert, and Jazz Bands along with inspiring performances from the PanCats Steel
Drum Band and the Essentially Ellington Awarded Plano Senior High School Jazz Band. Make your plans now to enjoy this experience.
