The Plano I.S.D. has a unique high school situation. The normal 9th-12th grade system is split into 2 different levels, 9th-10th and 11th-12th, that is high school and senior high school. Vines and Jasper are the two high schools that feed into Plano Senior High School. Both Vines and Jasper provide a complete fine arts program with band, orchestra, and choir. Plano Senior High School was recognized as a Grammy Signature School by the Grammy Association in 2004. We are very proud of this honor and distinction. In addition, the 04-05 Plano Jazz Band was selected to perform at the Essentially Ellington Festival at the Lincoln Center in New York.
